Positive Thinking Techniques - It's to bad ignorance isn’t painful

Imagine if being ignorant was painful wouldn’t the world be a better place? Think about it, every time a person thought an ignorant thought they felt pain, every time a person made an ignorant gesture they felt pain, every time a person uttered an ignorant word they felt pain.

Ignorance comes in various forms, spiritually, intellectually and morally, as well as financially, and it is no coincidence that people who are afflicted with this trait live a life of miserable existence, doomed to go from one problem after another.

This all stems from the fact that ignorant people are ignorant because of the way they think, or, their lack of thinking, it’s a known fact that two percent of people think, three percent of people think they think, ninety-five percent of people would rather die than think, George Bernard Shaw once said that he made an international career for himself by thinking only once or twice a week.

I believe thinking is the real key that determines an individuals success, or failure, and if we could only grasp that fact, our results in life would be infinitely better, in terms of our health, wealth, happiness, and relationships.

The question is, how can we begin to think in such a way that the results we are currently getting in our life can change from worse to better. The first step I believe is to realize as Robert Cayce once said “change is not made without inconvenience, even from worse to better.” And he was right; most people start off on the road to positive change with good intentions and one of the reasons why so many fail is that think the road will be easy, and when they realize it isn’t they will use all manner of excuse’s and alibi’s to justify why it went wrong.

So we first need to look at our past to really make sense of why our present situation is thus. And once there we will find the cause and then we can start on a quest to correct it.

This can be achieved by tracing our steps back on the mistakes or wrong choices we have made in the past and learning from them, but also to look at the good choices we have made and we will find that it all stemmed from a thought.

Whether that thought was a negative or positive one, we can start to see the pattern, every time we think a negative thought and act on it we can be assured there will be a negative consequence, we only have to look at some of our mistakes for proof of that, again this also works on a positive basis, if our initial thought and action is positive then our results will be positive, unfortunately most people focus on the things that have gone wrong instead of try to find a solution to put things right. We must all try to look for better solutions for our adversities.
